Events & Banquets is an add-on that the owner turns on. Restaurants that do not host functions never see it.
Every price is worked out on the server: hall rent, packages, extra dishes, tax and the payment plan.
An advance paid in cash goes into the open cash shift, and comes off the function’s bill so it is never counted twice.
